How about a GBR with a Red-Tail Black Shark?

I've read numerous places that the shark should co-exist with dwarf Cichlids, but I'd rather hear from individuals with actual dwarf Cichlid experience. I have a 37 gallon tank with the shark and 5-6 Corydoras Trilineatus. All these guys hang out at the bottom, mostly. I was thinking of a single or a pair of GBR. Is this disaster waiting to happen or is it possible?

Everyone I have ever spoken to about this has not recommended such a partnership, if you have another tank then by all means start with a red tailed black shark but I recommend not mixing with GBRs. The main reason is that GBRs hang around the bottom of the aquarium so should not be mixed with other fish that live at the bottom of the tank.

I have such a pair and did not get along at all in the community .....Red Tail Black Sharks are "Jerks'' and rarely get along with anyone at all...... If you are looking for a cleaning type tankmate try the Siamese Algae eater they are wonderfull cleaners and get along with everyone
