Hey all I have a 2ft x 1ft x 1ft tank sitting in my shed, and I was earlier thinking would I be able to use it as a breeding tank for my pair of GBRS, as they've laid eggs about 3 times as far as I know but none have hatched...

I would go for the simple pea gravel but the rest like plants, water parameters and temps I don't know about, and also what kind of filter and heater would I need?

Air pump would one be needed?
Cleaning Fish?

Not speaking from experience, i would think a sponge filter will do the job. Cleaning fish, maybe a bn pleco or otos?

Well, the tank would be fine and i'm sure they will breed in it with the correct setup but space speaking i personally think that tank is a bit small. I know some ppl do have them in 10gals etc tho.
