They just bred.

I went to turn off the lights in my 37 gallon and I saw some little white things on the filter intake. The intake part is about 2" across and then the tube in the centre. There are about 100 eggs. I just hope the plecos don't eat them. I am so excited. I will have pics asap.

From what i know, the first time the eggs are very unlikely to make it.
Give them a few more tries and they should raise some fry.

ram age.

hello! how old must be a ram pair to successfully breed? please give me some infos. coz i got a pair and they laid egg 2 times but the eggs doesn't hatch.

If they are breeding then they are old enough. But it does take a couple of tries before they get it right.
