Will different kinds of Rainbows school together?

Once I sell my Flowerhorn, I am going to turn my 55 gallon into a planted rainbowfish tank. Right now I have 4 Praecox rainbows and two blue eye signifers in one of my other tanks and they school together. Would the larger species school together if I got maybe 3 (1m, 2f) of each?

My Pseudomugil Furcatus and Iriathernia werneri schooled together. they are of/near the same size. Just off the top of my head... I would think if they are of similar shape and size that they probably would.

Thanks Carol Thats good to know. I love rainbowfish and want to have a few (3)different types, but I don't think a 55 is big enough to get a full school of each. My keyhole cichlids and a tiger pleco are going to go in the tank as well. I have two schools of tetras in my 80 gallon that school together, so I figured that it might be the same for Rainbows.

There are so many different kinds of Rainbows available that it's almost impossible to choose. some of them are really small so a school of five or six would have almost no bioload.
This is P. furcatus

These are threadfins(Iriathernia werneri )

They both are about 1-1/2 inch but very very slender.
Heres the best place I've found yet for learning about rainbows.

In the 55g three schools of small rainbows would be awesome or at least three of a larger type.
