Rainbow Shark Compatibility?

Can a rainbow shark be added to any of these tanks-I'll only be adding it to one tank.

55 gallon tank-2 striped cons, 2 jellybean cons

55 gallon-2 jewel cichlids, one JD, one convict

55 gallon-2 JD's

My research says they need tough tank mates, but I still like to double check on compatibility if I'm not 100% positive about something.

i think they could be on the the 55g with the jewels, jd and con...
Not sure if you could put him with the JD pair... they could end up pairing off and spawning, and creaeting too much stress on the shark...

but then again i'm no expert

Hello BB. I think the Rainbow Shark would do well in any of your tanks mentioned above. I just love mine and he seems to along well with everyone in my tank. He even buddies with a Cory Cat. He will chase the Silver Dollars from time to time but they are so fast he doesn't get a chance to nip them. Best of luck! I know you're going to enjoy the new baby!

I moved your thread into the "freshwater sharks/RainbowSharks" section of the forum.
Thanks!
Ken

Thanks, everyone! I'm glad there's more than one option as well. It gives me a backup plan, which always makes me feel better
