Albino Rainbow Shark

well i have a albino rainbow shark, and it is always staying behind the heater against the glass. I have 2 bala shark, a columbian shark and one other rainboe shark, they dont pick on it or anything and leave it alone but it is always hiding behind the heater in the tank. Is this a bad thing? they have a big tank with plenty or plants and decor for them to hid in i even got these clear tubing for them to hide in but i can still see em but im just worried cause he is always behind the heater and nver really leaves. Any suggstions would be great.

Hello Jessemama welcome to fishlore and Merry Christmas!

If it is healthy, its possible that it is being picked on by another shark? I would watch the behavior of all of them and see if that is the case.

WELCOME to FISHLORE, Jessemama!

How long have you had the fish? Even though they are all "sharks" I am sure fish prefer to be in groups of their own kind. This one may just feel vulnerable because there are not any other just like him.

How big IS your tank? This group will really need a large tank.

Thanks

i never thought about that he might feel valnerable... from what i see they leave him alone he just goes off on his own and stays by the heater and i worry he might get like fried or something, its a 30gal right now waiting for my bigger one to come in. I worried that the other rainbow shark maybe picked on him when i wasnt around and now he is the way he is. should i serperate them when i get my bigger tank? i have had them for a few months but the newest one is the rainbow shark who i have had for..about a month now maybe a little less
