Tilly was spayed today!!

So with worry i didn't sleep last night. I took her to the vets this morn and happily picked her up this afternoon.

She is ok, here on the bed with me. I had her spayed for her health ( females can die young from cancer in the reproductive parts) also because she has been ' bothering' Max. He is smaller so he has had a large weight over his shoulders to contend with!!!!!

She has also had 2 phantom pregnancies already, nesting etc, poor love. Such a shame. I took the advice of my vet and all the rabbit welfare groups and she is now spayed. I just hope she is not in too much pain!!

Hi!

My little sister is almost as crazy about rabbits as I am about fish! We have 2 gorgeous female Lionhead bunnies - Fudge and Twinkle. They have a double decker hutch, a large run AND their very own shed with a small indoor hutch in it and tons of hay everywhere which acts as their winter quarters!

She'll probably be OK. I know ours where fine when they got neutred (do they neutur or spay females?) they where fine.

HH, thanks for your reply. Tilly is fine. She and Max are house rabbots, ie they have a posh house in here and i let them run riot when i am in. They are litter trained like cats so only P in the tray.

House rabbits aren't easy BUT SUCH FUN. You do have to hide wires etc...........INFACT i may write a house bunny post!!

HH get pics of your bunny, i've taken loads of new ones tonight. When i get a chance around work i will post them of Max and Tilly. I need new ones of Rosie my scruffy pony too soon.!!!

Hi!

Here's pics of my Buns...

Wait: I can't get it to work. It's saying stuff like: "Your file of 628.3 KB bytes exceeds the forum's limit of 488.3 KB for this filetype."

How do I make it work?

Hi!

I get half term next week - I have no major H/W right now - so I can come on here a lot. My dad is in Barcelona till Friday this week. He's a very important guy in Nokia and has to travel a lot. (Like, twice a month! He was in Dusseldorf a week or so ago)

Hope your rabit is doing well..I used to own two..I brought them with me from Korea when I was stationed there. I miss them a lot...IDK if i can ever get some more as it turns out I got really alergic to them..If i ever do get more they will have to at least be short haired..neway..when i got my male neutered he was bitter at me for a while but after recovery he was fine...if her personality seems to change while healing dont take it personally she will be back to her loving self in no time.

Laly she has changed but i a am shocked, she seems to want to be with me more than before!!! She is more loving than before, i guess it's because she see's ME as the one that rescued her from the vet's surgery!!!! From the bad guys!!! and brought her back to the safety of her home and mate Max!!!

Awww, she's got her mummy back! who out there doesn't remember what it's like to have your mummy, when you aren't feeling good. One of my chihuahua's had to have emergency surgery (got into something in dad's workshop) and I'll NEVER forget going to get him to come home, he made the most amazing sounds....I didn't leave his side for hours.....

Oh bless him!!

Max went for a bunny check up a few weeks ago and lept off the vets table onto me to snuggle under my chin to feel safe!! SOOOOOO cute.

Also last March my horse took ill with colic, she had to be admitted to the equine hospital. She was poked and prodded and was such a good girl for them, i realise now that it was because i was saying it's ok. When i left they had put her in a stable where she could see me get into my car. Bless her she was so poorly but when she saw me get into my car she kicked the door like a nutter, the noises out of her broke my heart!!! I sobbed the whole way home. Our bond is tighter than ever now.
