when we were looking at them at a pet store sunday, they were about the only fish to swim up to the glass and look curious about us. that and the stories of puffer owners bears out that they're smart little fish and capable of personality and interaction. sounds like a winning fish to me.

Oh I saw the two most adorable cichlids at the LFS today. They just followed me right around their tanks, and when I stopped, they both squished past each other to be closer to the glass to check me out. They were enoooormous.

lol.. the opposite of those tiny young puffers. they were so small those cichlids would probably eat them and not even notice.

Can't find nice bettas anymore actually. I keep looking out for them, but since I am actually really going to get one, there's no special ones around. Puffers on the other hand, they're everywhere at the moment.

I was at the beach one day, was walking and I stepped on a saltwater puffer and it strung something fierce!!!

well fortunetly dwarf puffers cant sting..hed for surely be squashed under your foot

i've never seen a puffer on the beach.. just jellyfish.. and those really sting ya good!
