Lovely photos, i love puffers has anyone got a video of a puffer fish puffing? Ive seen them while they are puffed and depuffing but not when they do it

Prob not a common thing, but its definitely not a good thing if a puffer does puff, since they had to have really been scared by something and it can be hard to expel the water/air that was puffed up.

It would take ALOT of luck to catch a puffer puffing, since you can't really predict it. The only ones that will puff without extreme stress that I've heard of are younger porcupine puffers.

But for most puffers, it is not a good thing at all. At least two members here, including myself, have lost a puffer because they puffed...

Yes, they do. I've seen one puffed up at the store before.

There is a 20 liter tank for sale at at our LFS half price because the bulb has gone, was thinking about getting it and getting a dwarf puffer, they are to cute what sort of things do they like in the tank?

They like densely planted tanks, lots of caves to hide in too.
