My DP is still very shy and it worries me that she isn't getting enough food. Essentially the only thing she will eat are live black worms and frozen bloodworms that are sinking (but not resting on the bottom). I put snails in the tank so she can hunt at her leisure and I never find any snails when I look into the tank later, so I assume they are getting munched on...Her belly looks roundish but never full, but I'm still new to DPs so I'm not sure what fully belly and empty belly really look like.

...I guess I'm just being worrisome since I hand feed my F8 so I know exactly how much he is getting.

Any tips?

Here's her sitting on her leafy perch, refusing any food that comes her way..grr.

Hello jgon. I merged your posts since there wasn't a response between. I don't have Puffer experience. You've probably already seen this link but I'll post it just in case you haven't:
General Guide to Puffer Care
Best of luck. Hopefully you'll get some responses soon.

She's cute! As long as she's eating, she'll be fine. You don't want to overfeed her, just give her some time. Keep us updated

Well, its been awhile and she is still very shy. She has shown interest in some bloodworms that I held with tweezers, but has yet to bite. So she's still getting snails everyday that he can hunt on her own time.

It was like 6 months before I got Ambellina to warm up to me. She got more bold soon after I moved her to a bigger tank with more dps. I'm not sure if that's what caused it. As long as her tummy isn't caving in she should be ok. Just give her time.
