Question: DPs and Sand Substrate

Would Dwarf Puffers like a sand substrate? I am cycling a 5 gallon and thinking of instead cycling the 10 gallon for them. (Just relocated the fish in the 10 gallon to a 20 gallon lol) I used new sand in the 20 gallon and the substrate in the 10 gallon was sand. But I am unsure if they would enjoy this substrate or if they would prefer gravel.

Sand is PERFECT for DP's...better than gravel.

They will be happy about that!!!...DP's are the cutest little things ever but they are little buggers too..lol...

So is my boyfriend but I love him anyways. I figure they will grow on me too

Yup they will..Don't know if you've seen this or not but it has great info about puffers.
