i fed my dwarf puffer 1-2 live worms at feeding time. just enough to have his belly slightly enlarged. i bought 1 portion (~1 oz) and just kept that in the fridge. just gotta be sure to feed/clean them too so they don't get nasty and die. hth

i usually used an eyedropper. i've also just picked up the worms with my fingers and put them in the tank that way.

for cleaning the worms, just swish them around in some clean water, dump that off, and repeat until clean. it's pretty easy once you do it, but i'm not too good at explaining :/

let me know if i wasn't clear

I fed my dwarf puffers frozen brinshrimp which they loved, frozen blood worms, freeze dried blood worms, and pond snails. I bought some pond snails and put them in there own little tank. It was one of those from walmart it was like 1.5 gallons and pretty cheap had the undergravel filter and light built right in. Then I had a little pond snail factory for my puffers..lol..This time of year a ton of people have pond snails in there pond. You could probably just put an ad on craigslist or freecycle and get some for free.
