I'm thinking of getting a dwarf puffer for one of my aquariums. First off, should I put him in my 10 or 25 gallon aquarium? Do they prefer sand or rocks at the bottom? Are they freshwater fish and what fish are compatible with them? Lastly where can I find them?

Dwarf puffers are fully freshwater; however, they are not community fish so if you have fish in your tanks already you will have to rethink your stocking. As for where to find them, I really couldn't tell you. Try calling around to your LFSs. It may be possible to special order them if no one has them in stock.
