puffers belly is getting gray

We just got two green spotted puffers a week ago. they both had rounded white bellies when we bought them. they seem to be content and not overly aggitated but one has started to get a gray looking area around the edges of its coloring do i need to treat for parasites? if so, what kind and How much how many times a day.

Thanks

Hi Tab
First, a few questions to refresh my memory. What size tank? What SG? What are the exact readings on ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate? pH? Does the tank have sufficient decor? What is their feeding schedule and what foods do they get?
I suggest treating for IPs if you even suspect they might be present. I highly recommend GelTek UltraCure for treating IPs. It is a gel that you soak their food in, so no treating the water, eliminating the danger of killing the cycle.

Ammonia nittrate and nitrite pH and salinity are all fine . we have 2 in the same tank but only one looks bad. the other is nice and healthy looking and acting. They are eating dried plankton and krill and have eaten 2 snails.

Personally I'd go ahead and deworm.
