I happened into a nearby newish super Walmart...what a beautiful Aquarium Section they have. Just got in a load of spotted puffers @ $4.49 each....is that good? Very healthy and active. Unfortunately their tanks are small and I wouldnt go back in a few days or week....it is new stock but probably wont last health wise. Sad, but encouraging inthat everythin was spotles and tank were clear and no dead fish other than ick in the Oscar and Parrot fish tanks.

They order GSP, but they keep these brackish fish in FW. Most of them do not survive.
Also, they have a filter system that shares the water throughout all the tanks. If one tank has ICH, they ALL have ich.

well who wants to save them...I will buy them all but dont want them...but if i do that then they reorder...it is a nasty circle of killing fish...if anyone wants to help I will buy them, dont have brackish....how long will they live in FW til i send them to everyone? or am i dreaming of good things for cute fish?

Almost all Wal-Marts sell GSP. I know one of the ones near my house do.
The best thing to do is to write a letter to the local Wal-Mart, asking them to please only order fish that they have the correct tanks for. Many of our members have done just that.
