A snail is a snail to a puffer

I'm so upset!!..My little DP's killed my Nerite snail. Little 's
I was giving them plenty to eat including pond snails... but noooooo they just wanted more. RIP nerite snail. Sooo sorry I put you in that tank, poor guy. They left him alone for like a week, I really thought all was good.

That stinks. How big was the nerite? I think that PFP's have been safe with her GSP's...

He was pretty good size..I can't believe they killed him. Pink was having pretty good luck with hers so that's why I got mine, But she recently noticed "bites" out of his shell and thought maybe it was the puffers..lol..They are just toooo onry.

Wow, that's crazy! I'm sorry they ate yours. I really thought that they wouldn't. Mine are still crusin' along just fine. Maybe a few bits missing around the edges of their bodies, but it doesn't seem to phase them... I mean they seem like they're made out of jelly anyways, lol.

Puffers a mean little buggers. If they weren't so cool they would have been replaced in the aquarium world already.

I would have to disagree..They are mean but being replaced..Not a chance..lol...
Allot of fish are aggressive you just have to stock accordingly. There is a HUGE market for cichlids and they are aggressive little buggers too....But you are right about them being cool....You just have to sacrifice stocking when you choose to have aggressive fish.

I agree... there are much more aggressive fish then dwarf puffers being kept commonly.
