They were in freshwater at the store so they are in freshwater here. They will be introduced to a brackish environment slowly, very soon. No worries about the tank size as we have plans to get them a much bigger tank. The tag said Green Spotted Puffers but they are so darn small! They are about 1 to 1.5 inches long.
I love the music, too! I think Emmet Ray is supposed to be a fictitious character from "Sweet and Low Down." Find some of Django Reinhardt's music for the same kind of sound.
I hope they will be best buds! If not I'm gonna have to separate them and that means two lonely fish. I can't wait for the lights to come on so I can stare at them some more.
There were some pond snails in the tank already and they pigged out. I could see little lumps all over their bellies. There was no big pooching out of tummies, though. After they have had time to empty out I will give them the parasite medicine that Pink recommended. I bought some just before I saw the little darlings in the store. (A sign!)
I want to go watch them so bad! Youtube will have to tide me over until the lights come on. Maybe I'll just go to bed and sleep through the wait.
