Uh oh, someone's been naughty!

I knew it was inevitable
I was watching my cories today do their little dances, and noticed that there were little tiny tiny tiny chunks missing from their fins.... Looks like Ambellina got a bit hungry, eh?
I'm torn though. Do I leave them there or move them? They seem so much happier with Ambellina than when they were with the bettas. They swim all over the place and don't hide at all. But if the fin nipping is a big deal then I'd obviously want to move them...

shame, shame. Well, i would have to ask myself what do you want. Temporarily happy cories who will soon be ripped to pieces, or content cories who live with (a) welcoming tankmate(s)?

i dont know...that's a tough decision if she's already started to go after them then you're going to have bigger problems down the road.

Yeah. It'll be sad to see them start sitting around again, but I did move them. They are with Winter again. Volta likes to go 'cory hunting', so they couldn't go with her. Winter is ncie to them though. Oh well. At least I know now that Ambellina is a really bad fin nipper. Just yesterday the cories looked fine....

at least you caught it early. It would've been a matter of time before those cories were chewed up

I'm hoping a bit of stress coat will get them fixed up quick

I replaced Ambellina's cory friends with some ghost shrimp friends... she can take nips out of them if she's hungry, I don't mind.
