| Question About Puff Med's I am giving 'Jungle Parisite Clear' med's to Gizmo, and he appear's to be very sleepy in the last couple of day's lol is this possible from the med's? And yesterday i did a water change and he slept from 6pm until 12am last night. Is this normal? I guess maybe i am too worried about him living lol please help Or is it possible he is just tired from all the action and tank water change ect; i have only had him sinse tues;when he does wake he is all over the tank-Sorry for all the question's but i am worried about him after losing 2-puff's lol bella Last edited by shih-tzu mom; February 20th, 2009 at 08:29 AM.

| I'd say he's just tired. I really don't think the meds would have that effect. I have reason to believe that my boys sleep anytime it's really dark in my room. They seem to wake up at the first glimmer of daylight (or artificial light ) though. |

| Man, if I had a video this would really help...
But, judging from what you've told me, I'd probably just let him sit. Maybe he just needs time to get used to his surroundings. Is his tank heavily decorated? If not he could be feeling a bit exposed. |

| It, is heavily decorated lol lots of hiding places as i always have to look for him and he seems to find lots of new ones lol and yesterday when he finally woke up he came right to the front of the glass. But this am he didn't wake when i turned on the lightss Do you think i should do about 25% water change to see if that helps him?? bella |

| It couldn't hurt. Cleaner water is always better for puff buddies. |

| I wouldn't worry about it. If the water is good quality and warm enough, then he should be just fine. It could be that the meds are working, and once he passes the IPs he'll be back to his old self |

| I thought about that also as the meds have to do something to them lol as we are affected with med's lol well here's hoping thanks Pink bella |

| No prob. I'm sure that, um... exposing of worms from your gut can't be much fun |

| Could be a chance he has dead worms inside of him now that he's been treated. Maybe try to get him to eat something to help clear his gut. Hmm, can't imagine puffs liking peas, maybe daphnia?
Also, is his belly snow white? |

| Well, can't find the puff-it took me from my last post until just this second to find him lol-is this little guy trying to give me a heart attack lol? I think-he thinks it's fun to make mom search for him lol and he is still on the bottom so i am going to let him be for a few days and hope he is ok, maybe the meds are making him drozey and i should just leave him be-until he feels better?? What do you all think?? bella |

| It's kind of hard to see his belly lol as he is on the bottom, but when i did see it, it was not as white as it should be. Jgon=also i was giving him brine-shrimp, with b/w and daphina, i mix that all together and he seems to like it alright but he is not eating as much now-and i guess it's from a load of worms in him. I sure hope he makes it lol , he seems to be on the bottom more then anything else, and sleeping. i am very worried about him and checking every 2-min; lol bella Last edited by shih-tzu mom; February 20th, 2009 at 01:36 PM.
