| Pic of Puffy Sorry, the outside glass is a mess, I moved the tank to the other side of the computer desk today, and made a mess changing his water.
The inside glass is clean...lol...
This is only his q-tank, I started adding a little marine salt today... he really loves it! |

| He is adorable! (Sexed? He? She?) I must agree that you guys are really making it hard to resist getting a puffer. I bought one when I was a teenager (and without desire to research proper fish care). It was about an inch long and looked sick. Died shortly after coming home. But so cute!
I asked my LFS if they ever got any or could order any. Both were a No.
I guess I will continue to live vicariously through you all. (Thanks) |

| I had a lfs tell me they could order any puffer I wanted (thats a dangerous thing to tell a fish addict!)
On a serious note, yes they can go full saltwater. If you look on the map where they are from it varies from brackish to full salt. I will say this, since I put the salt in Puffy's tank he has been super happy.
(I don't know the sex, I hear its very hard to determine in GSP's)
Martinsmommy, I don't know about w/ clownfish. I would say PFP would know.. |

| Well well well.. I found out why Puffy was snobbing food..
I put a snail in his tank, and as soon as it got on the glass he picked it off. (very small pond snails)
I guess the next feeding is going to be bloodworms. |

| He's really cute! I've never seen one with such a long tail, is that normal? |
| |
February 19th, 2009
|
| | Fish Master
| Yeah, that's pretty normal... usually when they're at the stores their tails are all bitten up and they don't fan them out as much... |

| Yeah, but that looks really big to me... longer than the fish, I'm looking at your avatar, his isn't that big. |
