moving my puffys :)

I have 3 small Green spotted puffys that I will be moving in the next month or so. I am in the process of planting my 55 Gallon tank. I was wondering if anyone out there had good experience with other fish in the same tank as my 3 puffys. I figure there will be more than enough room for now until i get my 200 Gallon tank. I just dont want a whole lot of fighting between fish.

Thanks for the help.

Hi welcome to fishlore

Do you have your puffers in a 55g freshwater tank?
I tried mollies with my GSPs, it worked for a while, but then one of them got eaten. Really there's no fish I can recommend to go with a GSP, unless they are in full saltwater.

As quickly as possible you'll want to get them into a 90+ gallon tank. They seem small now, but they grow big and they are very aggressive and even territorial.
