I got my shipment of this medication today. It treats internal parasites, and the active ingredients are Praziquantel, Flubenol, and Metronidazole. I've heard nothing but great things about it.
So, this thread will be devoted to my observations as I treat my puffer Pistachio for his internal parasites. Jungle Parasite Clear didn't work for him, so I'm hoping that this will.
First instructions, hold back all feedings for one day before using. I haven't fed the puffs yet today, so tomorrow I'll give Stachi his first dose.

Oh, and by the way, I've already seen great growth in Garth since he got dewormed. He's getting fat! lol

Gave him his first dose this morning. It says to feed them 5 drops twice a day for 3 days. I don't know how you get a fish to eat a drop... so I put it on his food. Of course that means I'll have to feed him twice a day, when I usually only feed him 6x a week max. He'll certainly be thrilled
I'm really hoping this stuff works, I'd love to see a plump Stachi instead of a skinny one.

I just gave him his last dose. I'm really hoping that it worked... He won't get fed for at least another day though, he ate a week's worth of food in 3 days!
So, I'll add an update when I know if he's been cured or not...

So, I've been watching him... I think he's better. I'm not gonna stop keeping an eye on him, but he looks pretty good. So that's good.

Well, he looked better for a few days, but now he looks back to normal. So... I don't know. I've tried pretty much all of the best deworming stuff. So I'll be sure to treat him regularly, but there's not really anything else to try. And since he isn't acting any different and is still eating well I don't want to put him through more treatment right now.

Aww, well that's a little disappointing. Poor little guy. I know you have pristine conditions, so maybe his immune system with buck up and fight them off in it's own time.

Yeah...
I'm hoping the move to his new tank in a few weeks will help him out a bit. For now, it's GarlicGuard and lotsa healthy foods.
