Just wanted to show off my Puffer guys!

Let me introduce my 2 SGP Pete and Repeat.... for some reason there is some darkening around the mouths in the photo but I can assure you that is merely my ineptness at photographing fish. They are healthy, white bellied and white mouthed little guys!

They're adorable. Thanks for sharing the pics!

Is that gravel or pebbles?

I feed them brine shrimp, tiny feeder snails and bloodworms. They love them all!

It is gravel...should I be using something else? They don't try to eat it.

Cute little guys................... Do they really 'puff' or is that just their name?

I love your puffers! You have much better photo skills than I! My two gsps (Garth and Pistachio) say hi to yours!

They can puff, and they even have spines. But it's often fatal, and only a last-ditch effort, so you don't ever want to see it.

They prefer sand, but gravel's ok. I use aragonite in my puffer tank.

Hi there!
Yes puffer fish puff...however, it is something a puffer fish owner never wants to see. When they puff up, it usually means that they are stressed or sick. Their stomach's sure puff up when they are eating! My little guys are piggies!
