Ok, Mr apple snail will be moved to another 10g. I start sifting thru the sand to remove as many MTS as possible. I will put them in another tank, and crush them when I feed them to him. |

From the pix, looks like I may be getting a little girl. I will wait to name "her" to see if she is really a she. |

A great thing about dwarves is that you can actually sex them! For all I know, Garth could be a girl, lol. I always wait to name the fish until I get to know them a little. I'm sure your puffy will give you ideas of what to name it after a little while |

| I told my BF I wanted puffer(s) and he said he'd get his lfr manager friend to order them in. We can get them cheaper than what that guy want for the one puffer.
SO instead of 1 I'll be getting 5 dwarf puffers. Our friend's have a green spotted puffer they had him for a month now. Just old us yesterday about it.
Everyone is getting puffer mania. |

They are very territorial, and that can cause problems if your tank isn't set up right.
As you know, my puffers are my babies, so I give them all the best I can afford. |

I can't wait to see them. | LOL, well I'd prefer a species tank of them.
The bf said that $20 was too much for one when he can get them thru his friend for cheaper, like 5-7 dollars.
I was/am having trouble getting over to to meet the guy. He won't hold him for me, he says he has lots of emails from others. Weirdo made it sound like he would hold it. |

| Well, if he's asking $20 for one little dwarf... 5-7 is more what I'd say they should go for. My gsps were only about 7 each.
That guy must be crazy or somethin, lol! |

I had my first betta in with 5 glowlight tetra, in a gallon tank, no heater and they did fine together for that month. Until I researched Betta, and got Nigel his own tank, 5g and the tetra went in my 20g (waaay overstocked community) |

Floyd was a beast though. He probably would have eaten any fish that was put with him. Even a divider didn't stop him from getting a piece of Donovan, lol. |

Some Betta do much better alone. Nigel RIP was the only Betta I have ever had who got along with others. He also lasted a whole year, which is something I have yet to see with other Betta. He went thru a lot of things in that year due to my being new to fish. |

I hope he's still doing well. And then two bettas I get and put in wonderful homes die within 2-3 weeks. |

Well, hopefully it'll be the same for both of us, and the bad betta luck won't apply to the puffers. So far mine have been perfect |
