Dwarf Puffers?

Ok, I would not say I am new to the fish world, though very new to puffers. I have been talking to pinkfloydpuffur( IDK how to spell it) sorry, I love her spotted ones but I am not in the zone to get a new tank. I am going to get one in December though. I heard Dwarf Puffers are very small and are very fun active and well they also said that they get aggressive as they mature and if they are crampt. I will let you know what I have

10 gal going to be fry tank
20 gal w/

1 platy, 1 baloon belly molly, 3 black skirted tetra's, 1 cory catfish, 2 orange & black flowy fish,3 guppies, 3 Harlequin rosbara's

Could I make that one dwarf puffer go in there, it could go in the 10 gal if we wanted it to.

Please any info is nice?!

Well, just going by the general stocking rule, the puffer would not have enough room in that 20 gal with all the others. And I wouldn't trust him with all those fish, puffers are hungry little buggers Sorry I keep talking, but I see puffer and I'm like 'must answer!'. so yeah.

Which tank did you want to put the dwarf puffer in? It would be fine in the 10 gallon with some ottos or kuhli loaches. If you want to have more than one puffer make sure that the tank is FULLY planted and has a lot of hiding spots. I would say in a 10 gallon, definetly no more than 3 dwarf puffers. They are really fun fish

I was orignally going to put it in the 20 gal, but if it does not fit IT WILL NOT GO IN THERE!

Lol, I'm usually a very quiet person, but not when it comes to fish! All my friends know not to get me started on that subject. But it's especially bad with the puffers, as they're the reason I got big into fishkeeping

Hey There!! I have 4 Dwarf puffers (now adults) in a tank with sand, layered rocks and lots of fake plants. They are best keep with other dwarf puffers (mine all get along wonderfully) and or FAST moving fish (I have mine with 2 peacock eels, glass shrimp and a american flag fish (they get along great). They will pick at slow fish or long fins. Also from my experience (I've tried all types of foods with them) they will ONLY eat frozen bloodworms and live worms, snails, etc. If you keep them well feed they will be less likely to pick on other fish also. Hope this helps!!! (below is a pic of my tank, the puffers are so small you can barely see them LOL you can see one of my eels under those rocks though looking for food and then there is a pic of two of the puffers.) THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!
