Puffers teeth are like rabbits, they continually grow. They need to have snails to file their teeth down or else the teeth overgrow and the puffer will starve to death because can't eat. I have thousands of snails, and sell them $5 per 50, for as many as you would want, plus the cost of shipping which is usually $5 for every 100 shipped. Send me a message on here or to
sirsamuelt@yahoo.com I sell them on ebay all the time and they arrive alive and healthy even in the cold. I suggest keeping some for you to breed that way you will never have to search for more snails for him to eat. Frozen bloodworms is really the only other thing I've seen my green spotted puffer eat, they will not even think about touching flakes. Small crabs and crawdads would also suffice for them to eat.
