Hey all, I was at my LFS and I saw a Rio Nano skimmer for only $40.00! I have read really good reviews and I have read some not so good reviews... So what I'm asking is, is this a piece of junk or just a great skimmer? I know a skimmer is an important part of SW/Reef keeping, and only spending $40 is a lot nicer than $160 lol. BTW this is for a 10 gallon tank, soon to be reef. I don't have it set up yet becasue I am still geting all the parts. So is it worth it?

With protein skimmers... you get what you pay for 90% of the time. The more you spend the better and vice versa. I wouldn't recommend it but it may work out fine for you. Maybe buy it and if it doesn't work take it back??
