I just bought a Aquac Remora pro hang on protein skimmer with drain fitting and mag drive 3 pump. Also aqauc remora pro pre-skimmer for mag drive 3, which is suspose to quiet the mag drive 3 pump and produce 20% more productivity overall. I have a 125 gallong salt water tank is this skimmer enough to do the job, it said it's good for upto 120 gallon tank? Just making sur, thanks new to the saltwater world.

I don't have the "pro" model but the one step down version... I have two and I really like the aquac's. They are sturdy, do a decent job and are easy to clean. Once it starts pulling gunk out of the water you'll get best results by cleaning out the collection cup including the riser tube (middle part of the collection cup) daily.

I also tried the pre-filter thingie but not for very long. I didn't really care for the pre-filter thing. It's supposed to help eliminate the micro-bubbles too.
