Using an AquaC EV 102 on display tank
Eventually I would like to get a sump for the 55 saltwater I'm setting up, but until then I'll have to wait for a while...setting it up, saving up, etc...
Anyways, I would like to have an AquaC EV-102 for the sump...I really don't want to have to buy two skimmers (example, get a HOB one now and buy the 102 later)...
Would it be okay if I for example, had some kind of support structure behind the tank and had the 102 overtop so that it flows back into the tank directly? Would the bubbles be terrible lol?
Or would I be better off just getting the HOB (probably the AquaC Remora) now, waiting, and getting the 102 later?
