Has anyone used or know anything about this brand? I'm looking to get one and want a HOT. Thanks for any response.

I have this skimmer and it leaked all over my hardwood floors behind my reef tank. Be careful!

I don't think that I've ever read a good review on the seaclone skimmer. I have not tried them myself so I can't say for sure how good they are.

I use and like the aquac remora (I have 2 of these) and last week I picked up a tunze 9002 protein skimmer. The tunze fits inside the back compartment of the nano-cube I'm setting up. I'm interested in seeing how it compares to the aquac remoras.

I had a SeaClone. Don't go there. Not worth it. I too use a Remora. It's alright. It does a fair job with little maintenance but, yeah, it's loud. I kind of want to look into some other skimmers. My Remora puts out an amazing number of microbubbles. I have the preskimmerbox with something of a bubble trap but the water practically fizzes in the outflow area. I can't wait to get this thing under the tank in an enclosed stand. It really is loud. I shut it of when I watch movies because the sound has a white noise effect.

Depending on how "open" you turn the air valve this new tunze can actually be quite loud. But, I have it throttled down now though and you can barely hear it.

Also, "Houston we have bubbles". The tunze just started producing bubbles that reach up into the riser tube within the past hour - yippee! The skimmate is looking a little too wet though so I'm going to throttle down the air screw a bit and see what kind of foam I can get at the new setting.

Gozer - I know what you mean about the micro-bubbles. So far I don't see any using the tunze.
