If this pond was in my back yard, and you were looking at the picture,

You'd be thinking " what a cool pond ", and I would be really happy !!!

Oh well, just a thought..........

Okay - here are some more pics.

The first two show the pond from farther away so you can see how it is put together. It is a preformed (stiff) pond liner sitting on dirt that has been dug down a bit (in our old pond that was just cement). I built a rock wall on the two sides and my Mom put the block across the front so we would have a place to sit to watch the fish.

The third and fourth pics are of my goldies right after the last big clean out (when I caught my cleaning to bring them in for the winter).

The last pic is of my mosquito fish sunning themselves. There may be a flagfish in that pic too.

Hello Gremlin,

My goodness, such talent! Those are awesome ponds and beautiful fish.... I'd love to have a pond with colorful koi and the constant sound of water flowing. Perfect relaxing environment!

The mosquito fish really do go after anything wiggly in the water. I call them my little pirahna fish. I have to supplement feed them in the summer when they are more active, so I give them a cube of freeze dried tubifex worms. They go after that cube and have it pulled apart and gone in a matter of seconds. Feeding Frenzy!
