My dad wants to get me a saltwater reef setup for Christmas and then all the inhabitants for my birthday(which is perfect because that is two weeks apart for the cycle). Oh and the good thing is I didn't ask him to he just wants to see another tank. I know this is four months away, enough time to research and all that stuff. I know this is really hard to maintain but there is no way of changing my dad's mind.

I added a poll to the thread it isn't what the tank is going to be its just that I didn't want to make another thread and ignore "guppy" in "breeding tank" so consider it "breeding tank". Reefs are stunning thats why my dad wants to get me one and this is coming out of his wallet so I will make my dad spend on mushroom, star polyps, finger coral, fire fish, anemone, clown fish. I really want a 50 gallon but we will see. His excuse is if I get straight A's but I got a 20 for free!

I talked him into putting the money into my current saltwater because I ran out of money. Seriously I only have 20$ left and need a skimmer and a better light. I broke a 40$ actinic light so I rather have all the proper materials.

Why cant i have christmas in summer, like they do in australia? This makes me very sad face.
