I recently got a golden retriever puppy! She is now 8 months old (not that recent...) but we got her at 6 weeks. She was born on June 6, 2009.
Strangely, she is cream instead of golden. her name is Chloe! *huggles ma pup*

I had two small green frog babies in the pond before winter. Hopefully they are hibernating and make it to spring. The frog population seems to come and go, so I didn't count them in the poll.

I have 2 outside cats and 2 fish tanks. I would like to have a hampster but, my wife would kill me she hates rodents and wants to step on them. I think my daughter would like it though, but , she would probably shake it to death since she is only 2 years old.

We have had all of the animals listed in vote within the last 10 years, just not currently. I am also planning on getting a parakeet soon

We have an Amazon parrot right now. The girls are working on dh for a cat, hamsters, a guinea pig, hermit crabs, a fire bellied toad, a chameleon and a chinchilla. Dh wants to get them a dog and a rabbit and has agreed on hermit crabs.

He says he is vetoing all rodents, reptiles and insects. I say he is delusional. Ask me in a year and we'll see who was right.

I was seriously considering a parakeet today with all the sales going on at Petco but I thought better of that idea.

yep, a turkey - she is really pretty and will come close to check me out and to say hi. Her husband just died last week so the poor thing has an ugly old while rooster to keep her company until we can find another tom.
