I got ripped off at Petsmart before I knew any better. I spent about $350 on a 55 gallon tank and stand. That was years ago, and since then I've gotten a 120 gallon and stand for $150, and a 75 gallon tank and stand for free, among other free tanks here and there.

$70, yasha goby, about 2 inches.
3) Approximately, how much has you spend all together on fish (include tank, fish decorations) ?
I haven't kept track and I don't even want to know.
4) How much has you lost on fish dying?
Not a whole lot. My fish tend to die from old age these days.
5) How much has you gain from fish fry?
Nothing. I'm not breeding anything.
Final Question (determine it all): How long has you been keeping fish for?
About 6.5 years. |

Let's see.... I got an 80g with stand for $150, but then everything had to be replaced.... $30 lid, $100 light, $70 filter, $50 for 2 heaters..... total of about $400

I've never had fry.
Final Question (determine it all): How long has you been keeping fish for?
A little over a year. |

| | Fish Keeper | 1) How much did you ever spend on a tank(without decorations and fish)? Size?
My first 'big' tank (20g) - a kit with a hood, filter, heater etc. plus a stand, substrate, fake plants, driftwood, chemicals I didn't really need but didn't know that - everything but fish, just under $300. (That didn't include the new hood I had to buy for it rather quickly, or the replacement heater, or replacement filter, or several air pumps, or new decor twice, or all the live plants...probably around double that, all in - ouch) 2) What is you most you've ever spend on a fish? Size? Type?
$11 each for six julii cories. We shall not be doing that again. 3) Approximately, how much has you spend all together on fish (include tank, fish decorations) ?
Like harpua, I haven't kept track (I'm a bit scared to know). It is possible we have surpassed triple digits. 4) How much has you lost on fish dying?
Errgg...too much (any would be too much...) 5) How much has you gain from fish fry?
Whenever I've had livebearers they've all been male, on purpose. Final Question (determine it all): How long has you been keeping fish for?
One full year as of next month. |
