I hope my vote isn't to late to count!!

I voted for Golden gourami (a colour variation of 3 spot)

For the reason being it was the first fish I ever kept, I bought 2, and I went through a lot with them, and they put up with my learning and were never grumpy.
Then one of them died, and I was so upset and felt so guilty that I went and bought a bigger tank for the remaining one, and stuck him in there once it was ready, with some new playmates (angel fish... went through a lot of those, because they never ever seemed to get along with each other...one of which I still have after 5 years! and I still have 2 others that are slightly newer, but still about 3 years old.)

Sadly I have neither of the gouramis left, I don't know how the 2nd one died, but I was heart broken. One day, if I ever have to downgrade from marine, I will keep golden gouramis again

dwarf for color, pearl for pattern, never bought pearl(tank too small) and never kept dwarf alive for very long due to ignorance

I will miss my paradise, gemme, he was awsome and brilliantly colored. He loved to flare around the tank and such. To bad he was so aggrssive. However he will still be my favorite fish. One day i will set a tank up for one specificly.

I love my Dwarf Gourami, and my Paradise fish. They all get along fantastically and never give anybody any trouble. They always come greet me at the glass and take food right from my fingers. My favorites for sure.

me too on the snakeskin thou I only keep dwarfs as i love there little attitudes..My wife brought 3 of these home back in sept. last year. Boy we didn't know what we were in for. We learned fast thou and now have spawned and sold some already.. My powder blue AKA Big Bully Blue, Has been one of my favorite fish as he don't no his size and will pick on any fish he wants. Even my 4" Angelfish. Even his face has attitude, he don't care about anything but what he wants..As he is very challenging to keep he has found a home in my hart and with my rainbows as they are way to fast to ever worry about his antics...
