Saturday is my waterchanging day. I don't really need to do it that often, but I keep on it in case I have to skip a week for whatever reason.

Right now I am cycling my two tanks all over again with my fish.....this has been such a ride.....tss hasn't done a thing for me....so doing water changes every few days......but usually I do water change about every two weeks but it really does depend on how stocked the tank is.

I do about a 10% water change weekly. Every 2 weeks, I vaccuum the gravel pretty good and do a larger water change.

When everything's actually up and running, I do wc's weekly. Not for the nitrates (they never get over 10 anyway no matter what fish are in there); basically the wc is whatever come out with a gravel vac to remove fish poop and any leftover food (usually 10-25%). I don't want anything decaying or tons of bacteria in my tanks.

I try to do weekly water changes, but I voted fortnightly because I either forget or don't have the time, so it usually ends up being every two weeks or so.

I do my all mine weekly; the betta tanks and the 10 gallon. Not sure why I settled on that, but it just felt right to me.

Judging by some of the things I've seen float up that siphon tube in a week, don't think I'll be changing that schedule any time soon....

My twenty gallon I usually change at least once every two weeks, but I have upped my schedule to once-twice every week due to a recent baby boom of a specific fish that shall remain nameless for sake of privacy *cough* tuxedo platies *cough*. In my betta tanks, I change the water weekly.

Haha!

Well, my LFS takes in fish kids, but they don't give any store credit to donated livebearers cause they get one too many donations of their kids in a week. I guess I'll just have to find willing homes for them before somebody gives me another litter.
