I know that there is a poll like this already but since my tank numbers have changed since I last voted on it I thought that I start another that would close at the end of the 30th so that you could know how recent these numbers were.
NOTE: we're counting active tanks...
Vote then fill in the following if you want:
1) # of tanks
2) # of tanks sitting empty somewhere
3) Set up dates for oldest and youngest tanks... (If you can remeber rofl)

P.S. On request a sister poll has been created please fill it in as well it to will close on the 30th

lol, i have 8 tanks currently running and at least 5 sitting empty for a grand total of 13 my oldest tank was setup back in november, and youngest was set up in...january i think, possibly early february

I'll be at 11 up and running (I think) plus 1 spare (broken ten gal) and hopefully before I leave the new 66 with goldies making that 12 up and running.

AGE:
Hard to remember since I tear them apart and move fish around so much... the oldest (meaning not tore apart) would probably be Red's old ten... that was set up...Augest something I think...)

5 running are mine, 1 running is my daughter but I usually take care of it, so I voted 6
I didn't count the 5g with the snails since it isn't actually running anything, except snails. lol

I have an empty 30 long and 20 long waiting in the wings.

Right now: 3 up and running, two that need to be redone. Hey I've got ten days, all five will be 'running' by then (so that's what I voted), although only 3 will have stock

I actually bought all these tanks between October 2008 and April 2009. Right now at this minute the 'oldest' would be Ivan the betta's 3g...everything else is either newly re-cycled, or about to be...

I have 6 running tanks

3 5g hexes with bettas (1 1/2 months)
1 10g with a betta (1 1/2 months)
1 10g with guppy fry (3 months)
1 29g with yo yo loaches, guppies, DG, albino lf bn (5 months)

I have 1 empty 10 gallon tank that I use for betta spawns. I break it down and clean it in between.

Wish list:
75-100g saltwater
55 gallon grow out tank for teen betta (if I ever get Mercy to spawn)
20 gallon long divided for four bettas

Ive actually downsized during the two weeks.
I started with seven tanks.. three 10gs, two 29gs, one 55g and one 125g.
Gave away a 29g to my sister, emptied the other 29g and emptied a 10g.
Now I am at a manageable number of four tanks; two 10s, one 55 and one 125g.
Summers coming.. I'd like to spend some time in the garden this year..

I currently have 14 tanks running, unless i count the 1/2 gallon containers with betta fry in then i have 64!!

I also have 3 empty tanks in the garage waiting until we move so i can have a fish room!

Can't remember when i set up the first or the last really.

None here with me I miss my tank-cleaning technique to avoid studying!
Hopefully that'll change by next year, since a bunch of other vet students are thinking of us all getting a place together, so no more no pet restrictions!
Back home I think there's still 4 tanks running, and a LOT of empties in the basement.
