I have named all of my fish except for my neon tetras and three of my cories

My daughter names them all after cartoon charaters... mainly scooby doo. I think shaggie is pregnant with scooby's babies...they are platies...although the father could have been one of the hex girl platies (a band from scooby doo)... Who knows...

i pretty much get my enjoyment from naming them lol! i let other people name my fish too. i have my bettas named C.J., vixen(its my little reindeer theme i also have a cat named Blitzen!), de la mort, and silk (my friend wanted to name the last two.

Cleo-angel, troy-log fish, billy-red shark, dude-pleco, ludwig and [help needed for the other]-coolie loach, carl-goldfish, otto-dwarg gourami, floyd-francesco-frank all danios. And yes I know my fish well enough to tell the schoolers a part.

My betta is Jubal Early. Of my 10 cories, the only one I know to be female is Saffron a/k/a Our Mrs. Reynolds, and the other 9 are the crew of Serenity. The names are influenced by my scifi nerdiness. Some other scifi fans might get the references.

Bandit (panda corydoras)
Bono (peppered x panda hybrid corydoras)
The Edge (peppered x panda hybrid corydoras)
Keto (I think - my sister named this one) (albino corydoras)
Ruby (my other sister named this one) (albino corydoras)
Akula (red-tailed black shark)
Seraph (angelfish)
Blue Angel (angelfish) - I named her after the Blue Angels. Has anyone seen them in an airshow? They're awesome.

My brother loved it when I told him that I named my female cockatoo cichlid after a class of Russian jets. And when I named my shark after a class of Russian submarines.

My dad likes that I named my baby catfish Bono and The Edge. We're big U2 fans in my house.

I name all the fish tank have a special connection, ie, Gilbert is the first fish to be born and survive in my tank. Darwin is my Gourami, Daisy is my massive white guppy, Flora is my odd-tailed guppy, Sunny is my other one

he's the most beautiful iridescent blue with a black head and flashes of red around the fins and gills.
