| My Christmas list is long when it comes to fish stuff, including stands and 40g long breeders, filters, heaters, lights for them, SW corals (the only prob with that I have to be the one to pick them out, so I won't get surprised, so that one equals my xmas money that I get every year will buy them), Lets, see a metal halide for my 36 bow front, 30-40lbs live rock, protien skimmer, refugium.... (now when it comes down to it, the first that I listed will be it, the breeder tanks so I can get rid of my spread out mess)
I am however going to get hardwood floors, new trim, and painting my walls in Jan (thats what I really asked for for xmas) so I know I will be getting that. I can't wait!
Back to the fish stuff, there are so many things to list, that my husband can't figure out or doesn'tknow the brands, etc to buy me... I would have to bring him pictures, set him up w/ people to meet to pick stuff up, etc.
Hey at least this year if he gets me coral, or live rock its something expensive that last forever if properly cared for (just like a diamond huh?) I am so sick of jewelry its not even funny (my mom and dad owned a jewlery store when I grew up, so every thing I did special was rewarded with jewelry and we are talking about winning basketball games, doing good at cheerleading stuff, not just the basic report cards they really overdid it!) By the time I met my husband I could care less about it, except the engagement ring (every girl has to have their perfect diamond). Now I might wear a bracelet w/ a ring (just a band).
My husband, hes easy... in Jan he is getting a new hunting rifle, and for x-mas under the tree he wants wii games... pretty cut and dry huh? The difference between men and women.
There is always the trip I am going on in Jan too... to see my friend that i haven't seen in a couple years... I can see the dread in my husbands face, and If I talked to my mom its still there too...
We always get into trouble together, not arrested by the cops trouble, but we do get into something everytime we are around each other. Mom used to say leave them alone, they will be okay til one of them is crying where they got hurt |

| hmmmmmmmmmmmmm everyone seems to know what they are getting except for me,and I'm a private investigater.maybe I need to learn your secrets.
No,seriousely,my wife and kids are great at keeping stuff from me,so I never know what I am getting (but it's never what I expect) so I am always surprised.
I can't get anymore fish or fish supplies until I get everything reorganised and finish a few projects I have started,so I am hoping to get plants, moss and driftwoods for christmas. |

| I already got part of my Christmas gift. I got a 20 gallon tank and stand around mid November. My plan was to have it aquascaped and inhabited with fish by X-mas. I am so bad at aquascaping that it's just sitting there with 1 plant, gravel and 3 cory cats. For Christmas I want a miracle, "To have my aquarium aquascaped and have a little family of fish" Please Santa, Please! |

| Well some of my Christmas presents will arrive next weekend - that will be 2 pairs of HM's from Vinita at Nicebettas.
The mother-in-law wants to buy me a salt water fish, so i explained that she can not choose it but i will welcome a gift voucher for a semi local (90miles away), wonderful cichlids and salt water shop. Then i can get what fits into a 24g Nano. Got to narrow down my choices from 6 fish yet!!
Other than that that's about all the fishy things i'm getting unless some Dr Foster and Smith vouchers come my way.
As for whats coming from I don't think i have been good enough this year!

| Everyone's always refused to get me anything fish related saying I have 'too many' anyway lol.
Not a good time for fish or fish stuff for me now, hoping for monies!
Mostly, I'm just excited I get to go home for Christmas, since that was rather in doubt seeing as someone has to be here to look after the work fish. |

| I'm not asking for much for Christmas. My in-laws will probably get me some useful stuff, and my parents will get me a video or CD or two, but my wife and I are lessening the amount of money we spend on each other in the "gimme season."
This year we're really conscientious about it because we had a conversation with a nephew who told us that he only really enjoyed himself during Halloween and Christmas "because he got stuff on those two days." Now, the kid is autistic, but it was still a strong reminder of what Christmas has become to people. We get together with both of our families (Mom and Dad are taking us to a Japanese restaurant for Christmas Eve dinner), and feel like being able to get together with them (and with our friends, who we usually see a couple of times a week) is the best gift we can have. |
