Do you eat seafood?
I've never been a much of a fish eater, but now that I have fish, I just can't eat shrimp. They remind me of my molly babies for some reason.

I do eat a small amount of seafood.
The idea of pet vs non-pet animals has little impact on my diet. Mostly, I avoid seafood because I don't like the taste of fish (and because I had the misfortune of seeing a pretty horrific fish-as-food related sight when I was 6 or so).
I love Tuna, however. I generally have tuna only once or twice in a month because of the above-mentioned mercury concerns.
Edit: I'm also a fan of sushi.

Although this is true, especially for pregnant women or women considering pregnancy, the benfits of seafood may out weigh the risks.

It also depends on the type of fish.
Small, herbivorous fish are much less toxic than larger, carnivorous fish. Minnesotans are told to go nuts with small panfish like sunnies, while walleyes and the like are to be eating once a month or so. We've got some pretty bad mercury poisoning due to the coal plants in the state, so this is a constant concern for us.

Heh, just drove down to Maine this weekend, and had lobster 3 ways, mussels and clams! I adore seafood, and going from the middle of the prairies to within a day's drive of coast is wonderful.

I love fish and especially shrimp. Crab and lobster are ok, but I don't enjoy them enough for me to justify their higher price at a restaurant.
Any other type of seafood (oysters, clams, calamari, etc.), no thanks.

I don't know about that. Nothing quite beats splitting a 1lb lobster while drinking a well prepared martini made with a decent vodka or gin.

Yes, but I just don't want to take the chance. I am sure there are other foods I can eat to substitute for the nutrients that are in specific sea-foods.

You haven't lived until you have eaten Maryland crabs with Old Bay, corn on the cob, and beer!
Rhetorical question... If you can't eat seafood because you own fish, can a farmer eat a hamburger?
