Endler's are a really rare and colorful close relative to guppies. They are almost extinct in the wild and have been started to be bred with guppies just to try and keep the strain alive.

But remember, we try and add new fish on the main site.

So we are trying to show that there are more species of fish other then those on the main site, even though everyone knows that already.

Oh that makes more sense. I thought it was jsut for the sake of polls every month. Thanks for clearing it up Tom.

You should add Montezuma Swordtails. They are really neat fish,

Yes even though the female Endler is a rather drab solid color the male is dressed in his sunday best. The Males are really small and feisty. they are way too cool
Carol

That's a good idea. I'll add them to the list of future suggestions. Thanks.

Endler's Livebearers males have all kinds of 'paint splash' patterns and are every bit (if not more) as amorous as guppy males. The females are a plainer color, but get to 2 or even sometimes 3 times the size of males. Our endler's tank is never quiet, these little fish are so active!
