| Just switched from a 29 to a 55 and may be reloading the 29 with convicts or freshwater angels. The GF is talking about converting it to salt and getting a clown and calling it Nemo and a Dori. What kind of fish was Dori anyway?
I think when I tell her how much work it is, she wont go for it. She loves my guys and everything, but she's not a real fish person. |

| The current fishhouse total tank gallonage is: 3292.5 US gallons.
I added the troughs, ponds, tubs, and pools that are, obviously, not in the fishhouse to get a total of: 6220 US gallons.
So between both inside and outside the fishhouse, on our property, we have: 9512.5 US gallons. |

| Are we counting functional tanks only? In addition to the 30g and 50g I'm using, I have a 15g which will soon be a home for a brackish puffer, and I have a 150 gallon in storage to get up and running once I can afford a filter, etc for it! |

A green spotted? They're my favorite |

| Either a green spotted or a figure 8. I was leaning towards the latter only because I'd like to try to keep a few small fish with it, and I hear figure 8's are a bit more docile? What do you think, you're obviously an experienced puffer person? I was thinking of keeping with some bumblebee gobys... |

| Oh, I'm not that experienced. But I've done tons of research. I've heard that bumblebee gobies would work great with them. I've also heard that figure 8s are a bit more docile, but they are still puffers You've just gotta be careful. My gsps are living with mollies, and they don't bother them. Just remember that they get more aggressive as they age. But a 15 gallon will not be able to hold a fullgrown puffer. They will need more like 30. I have mine in a 20 right now, but when they get bigger I'm going to get at least a 55 for them, or maybe 2 30s if they won't play nice together. I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think the figure 8s stay a bit smaller than gsps. It just depends on the temperament of the fish whether they'll let other fish stay with them or not. Just make sure to add the gobies first. I think that with overfiltration, staying on top of those water changes, and keeping a close eye on those gobies, you could have quite a successful set up there, although you probably should upgrade when the puff gets larger. |
