How many timers
How many times does everyone have on their tanks combined? This includes light timers, co2 timers, wave maker timers, any timer connected to your tanks.

Since we run our whole house on a generator, and have to shut it off at night, timers are irrelevant. Just one more thing, as Forrest would say!

I use one timer per tank, just for lights.

I own 2 but only one is currently in use (2 of my tanks I turn the lights on and off myself when I get up and go to bed).

I only have one, but it has an extension cable plugged into it, so it turns off the lights in three tanks.

We have a light timer on the 100g...we have the plants on a light cycle.
We are getting more once we move...then we'll know exactly how many more we'll need.

I use timers all over the place when it comes to aquariums. I use them on day lights, night lights, feeders, powerheads (to circulate food during feeding time) filters (to prevent food from being sucked up during feeding time) and CO2 injection utilizes a controller.
Two of the timers adjust automatically to changing sunrise/sunset times (a bit overkill, I agree).
I love the ability to streamline...

Just one plug. Once I get my new fixture with lunar lights, I plan to keep them on 24/7. They are only 3/4 watt (hardly any electrical load for as $$$ is concerned) and LED which will likely never burn out. This way, the single timer for the main light will turn it on and off. Once the main light is off, the LED will be on to take over.

I love timers. I have six all together. One on the 150, one on the 45, 2 on the 55 reef, 1 on the Betta Tank, and 2 on my Uromastyx tank (it's a reptile). Soon I'll have 2 for the Gecko for night and day. I also want more for my reef to go with more powerheads. Timers make things so much easier. I have a nasty habit of forgetting to turn lights off in the evening so they get left on too long. Timers save me a whole lot of trouble.
