I just wanted to know which angelfish y'all thought was the best out of these.

There is not much difference to me.

However, the black strains and those derived from them ( the golds) tend to be more aggressive.

This needs to be taken into account when choosing tankmates.

We have a Black veiled and I love Koi and Blushing Blues.. it's hard to pick a favorite really.

I love my black veil tail angelfish who seems to have blue blusher in him...blue gill plates/cheeks.
I really want a white blusher or 2...they are so pretty.

The Black Lace are definately more aggressive as are the chocolate colored ones.
My Koi Angels were the least aggressive angel I have ever seen unless spawning and they do work hard to protect their fry.
The top one is a female and the lower a male. They have been gone for awhile but I wanted to share that pic

I agree the blacks are much more aggressive! But for voting i ts reall hard as i like them all! But i voted for marble veiltail because of F-H!

I like the platinum pearl scale and blue blusher. Haven't had either, but one of these days.

If you put them with the wrong tank mates that is obvious.

They are Cichlids and just like other Cichlids you have to research and see what is compatible with them. Although some are more aggressive than others it is OUR responsibility to put them with what is compatible since neither fish can swim away if a problem occurs.

KOI ANGELS! Cant wait to get a pair myself. Just hope I actually get a "pair". They should look beautiful in a tank of Rummynoses. Or Neons.... or both
