They have had outdoor cats since I was 7...the cat they have now is 17 years old and he still goes outside. Indoor kitties have no where else to go.
My bf's mom is willing to help us when and if we get the fish store going. My parents call us dreamers.

For the amount of money I have invested in the fishhouse, I could have a nice sports car, my house paid off, or five figures sitting in the bank.

But I like things as is.

100 + tanks
75 species of fish
25 species of plants
20+ strains of guppy

My parents help Dino and I in the fishhouse with waterchanges, and are already drooling about wanting angelfish, clown loaches, and bettas of their own. (They've been helping about 2 months and before that had only had fish in an aqauarium when mom was like 5... which was 40 yrs ago. ) So they are basically new to fishkeeping. Dino's human parents (Not his ones ) get into it when we have fish have babies. Without the financial and physical effort of his parents the fishhouse would not exist as it currently does. They've put hundreds of hours into the labor.

I just figured up the numbers. For the male betta and 2 female bettas from thailand including the instate shipping costs, transshipper cost, cost of fish, divided by 3 (3 fish) is $37 per fish. (well worth it, but just making sure i came back to post exactly how much we spent not just that we had spent more than 35 )

Its funny how much we spend of fish something we can't touch or have a REAL converstation with but it is still worth it. And if I didn't spend the money on that I still wouldn't end up saving it for things like the sports car of having the house paid off. I can hold on to money but not that much. Funny how that works.

well, fish might not talk back with words, but they sure can show emotion and let's face it - we all know people who can't carry on a conversation as good as a fish.

I can DEFINITELY name a few! lol

I work with this one guy who supposedly was hired based on his computer experience. I've been training him. He can't find the ENTER button on the keyboard! I told my boss that finding Internet Porn did not constitute computer experience!

Hahahahaha. Doesn't he already have a son? And daughter for that matter. The both seem pleasant, they're physical attributes appealing and, even though they are not getting daddy's money, they got off to a GREAT start and are loaded themselves! Sigh, even one of them would be single that I might have a chance lol

He said they worth that much but we didn't pay that much. Like I'd let him spend THAT much on a fish.
