mac all the way. ive had windows but then we got a new mac, and now i could never go back. we now have 4 macs, and i wouldnt ever use windows again. its so much simpler, and there arent viruses or spyware programed for macs so u dont hav to worry about virus scans and adaware and that stuff. mac all the way!

If you like working with computer graphics a lot, Mac with OS X operating system would be better. If not, a regular computer with Windows. That's just my opinion

I don't have Mac, but I do like it better than Windows. I think my next computer will be Mac with OS X It's also so much quicker than Windows, and much less "cluttersome" than Windows. I think Windows is overrated. It's a big monopoly. We need more options than Windows alone.

I always was a pc person until i tried a mac with OS X. it hooked me with the best software for video editing, but mainly the stability of the system is what got me to switch over. Unix is so much more stable than DOS and i don't miss the blue screen of death. it's nice to not have all the anti-this & anti-that software running and it's nice to have a computer that can just run for days & days & days without crashing. i hated macs and now i love them - so that should say a lot for the OS and how solid the machines are.

I also have a Mac.. OS X with tiger operating system. I love the mac and wouldnt want to use anything else ever again. Its true.. no virus's to worry about etc etc.
BUT.... sadly my beloved Mac got hit during a thunderstorm/power outtage and the internal ethernet card is corrupted.Everything else works fine, just can't get online. Only way for me to fix it is to send it out and get the ethernet replaced and I heard that can cost a lot! So here I am using a windows laptop that my husband had.. and even tho I am now used to using windows again, I really want my MAC BACK!!....

I've used Mac, but I can't really say I liked it. Honestly, though, I have had next to no problems with Windows. I've used as far back as Windows 3.1 and the only time I get errors is when the program itself is at fault.

I know people with Macs that crash..... frequently. To say the least. And I've had my computer running for well over a month at a time.

I'm a pc guy. May not be as stable, but at least I can find software to run on it!

LOL, i've not had any kind of software that i've wanted not be on the OS X platform.. especially open source apps.
