Yes, I have an albino bristlenose. He's very helpful in cleaning my tank of algae. But when I drop a vegetable in the water he will attach to it and if other fish want to have a bite the pleco will shoo them away saying, "this is mine"

Overall I think the pleco is a nice fish to have but I quite don't like the common pleco because of its size.

I have two L107 BN plecos. They are awesome and keep my tank sparkling clean. They are almost my favorite fish.

I had one for a little while but it produced so much waste and ate my plants (grr!!!!) that I got rid of him. Also, I find them frightening..

hello fellow fishers, new guy on the block here.I like plecos.I think they are great tank inhabitants that add action to the tank.I just purchased a 3 inch gold nugget pleco and gave away my common one.Sort of bad mistake as,since the week i've had Goldy,I have seen maybe three times.(sigh) Pretty pleco but nowhere around to show to people.

Yeah thats the hold back about fancy pleco's. Still, i never give up the hope that they will learn to come out as they get used to their surroundings.
