I have two that I think must be sailfin plecos. Their coloring doesn't match any of the pics of any of the plecos I've seen, but they are closest to the common and the sailfin. Their dorsals are huge so I figure they must be sailfin. When they are in my pond in the summer, they clean the algae off the underside of my lily pads. I know I need to throw some extra wafers in when they start shredding the lily pads.

Yes,they are sailfin plecos and very nice looking too. I only have 1.I keep him in a 55 gallon by himself, because he is 13.5 inches and very aggressive to smaller fish.

I have 2 plecos. One is in my 30 gallon and one in my 75 gallon. The 0ne in my 75 gallon is 11 inches long and massive. He does a pretty good job cleaning the walls of the tank but thats cause he needs to eat a lot. Most of the time they get lazy and eat fish food off the bottom of the tank

I would really want one. But I only have a 10 gallon tank already stocked and I have to wait 2 years 'fore I can get a 55 gallon.

I voted no because I used to have one but it died. Anyways I was pretty satisfied with it's work. Since I put it in my 25gallon I bought a bushy nose pleco because they don't grow as big as most of them. Only around 4 inches.
