i'm looking for a new car (not brand new, but new to me!) and i get so excited patience and logic leave me and i just want one now!! getting increasingly frustrated as dont even know when i can go test driving as my hubby is working or i'm working or they're shut! went out today to 2 garages hoping to get one and they were both shut! so spent all last night on the internet and all morning searching for cars to view! is it just me and everyone else finds it about as exciting as buying a loaf of bread, or do we all get secretly giddy at the thought of a new car?! tan

ooo, that counts!! some people see it purely as a mode of transport and find it dull researching their next purchase....whereas i'm like a kid on christmas eve! santa does exist!!

I'm a mechanic so the cars I look at are very limited and I approach it like buying a TV... Best price for the best product I can afford... I really don't get very excited about things like this because it takes money away from my fish..

that makes sense! i'd be less excited if i was working on them all day!! i do enjoy driving though! it is gonna take money off my fish....no more tanks now!! the mts has to stop!

There's definitely a level of excitement to it...but it depends on the situation too.* My current car is the nicest I've ever had, but my car before was definitely the coolest.* However, it got wrecked when a van pulled out and smashed into me.* * I really wasn't excited about getting a new car because I was still sad over having lost the car I loved so much.* ** *

my favourite car i had, i had to get rid of cos it was a 3 door and was pregnant and couldnt get 3 yr old in and out anymore, then figured wouldnt get baby seat in and out too well either and that i really needed a 5 door car! i loved that car! still miss it!

wow a car... maybe one day I can have one of those 8) but for now it is public transportation, my bicycle, and my own two feet. : But if i was to get a new car I would be very excited about it.

I would be more excited if A-The car I bought yestersay was for me (wife will be driving it) and B-I didn't have to see how much it cost You can probably add a C- to that too as even though the wife is happy now, she's been sick all weekend and hasn't been able to thank be properly.

Get your mind out of the gutter I'm talking about thanking me by buying me stuff for my fish .
