While I love my Otos, my heart belongs to my Bettas. There is just something about having a relationship with them. They do not relate well with other fish, so they develop the closest relationships with their humans. It is very hard for a loving Betta owner not to have a personal relationship with this lovely fish. They are so close to a personal communication with us. It is almost like they can tell us what they are thinking after a while (although I believe that it is really that we know what their actions mean after getting to know them)
